Traveling on cruise ships is simply a wonder; cruise ships offer an array of activities and I have written about them previously, so today I will tell you a little bit about three trips I combined into one single extravaganza.
We flew into Los Angeles and there we spend four days enjoying Hollywood, the Walk of Stars, and some of the nearby beaches like Santa Monica Beach. One afternoon we departed from the Port of Long Beach (LA) on a beautiful Royal Caribbean ship for a week of exploring all of Baja California: Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, and Mazatlan, Mexico. At each port we visited, we rented a car or a private driver all day to take us to local hot spots away from the general tourist areas. We almost never prepaid tours from the ship, unless there were dangerous places where at risk on our own.
